About Us

Ukrainian theater studio “Beshketniki” invites boys and girls aged 4 to 16 to plunge into the magical world of theater.

In our classes, they receive the basics of the acting profession and skills that will be useful to them in life, regardless of what direction they choose for themselves in the future.

Ukrainian theater studio “Beshketniki” will reveal a true artist and help to nurture a harmonious personality. Our studio provides a platform where young actors can unleash their creative potential, improve communication skills, self-expression and self-discipline. Our training program will also help children develop self-confidence, the ability to work in a team and adapt to different roles and scenarios of performances, and teach interaction in a group.

Classes in our studio contribute to the development of a child’s creative thinking, imagination and emotional intelligence, and also help children to reveal their individuality and find their own stage appearance. Confidently take the first independent steps on the way to revealing your own potential.

Program

Rhythmics - develops a sense of rhythm, coordination and musicality, helps children feel their body better and move with ease and confidence.

Acting skills - teaches self-expression, emotional flexibility, improvisation and skills of interaction with partners on stage. Helps overcome shyness and fear of public speaking.

Stage plasticity — improves physical fitness, flexibility and coordination of movements, teaches mastery of the body as a means of expressing emotions and characters’ characters.

Stage speech - develops diction, voice, articulation and proper breathing skills, which helps to express oneself clearly and expressively, conveying emotions and meaning.

Experience in concerts and performances - gives practice of public performances, strengthens self-confidence, helps to overcome stage fright and forms a team spirit and responsibility towards the team and the audience.

Head

My name is Anastasiya Yuriivna, and I am the artistic director of the Ukrainian Theater Studio “Beshketniki”. I am a certified teacher and director of pop and mass festivals (KNUKiM, ХФВКМ) from with more than 15 years of experience in the field of theatrical art. My greatest passion is creativity, which I carry together with love for children and charisma, which inspires the discovery of new talents!

My mission as a director is to help every child find their voice on stage, feel the joy of self-expression and self-confidence. For 15 years I have been working with actors and children of all ages, helping them to reach their potential and overcome any fears, developing imagination, emotionality and communication skills.

In our studio, we learn through play, art and creative tasks. Children and teenagers get acquainted with Ukrainian culture, literature and theatrical traditions, taking part in productions of both classical and modern works.

I believe that the theater is a space where every child can find his place and feel like an important part of a big theater family. I create an atmosphere in which each artist feels confident, safe and inspired for new achievements.
